Help us stop and heal the earth and people, plants and other animals devastated and traumatized from the fires. With Mars and Jupiter squaring off during this full moon, it might explain some strong or powerful feelings you might have experienced this holiday weekend. Wisdom Council of the Starlit Well would like to invite you to join us as we channel this energy and work with the waning moon so that we can help prevent and stop fires, heal all that has been effected from them, and give offerings to the land to help it regrow.
This ritual will work with some of the ancient genius loci, spirits of the land and the sea. We will attempt to form a mutual understanding with these spirits. This understanding will be based on respect, and will open a line of communication to the earth and the natural world that many have taken for granted. We will give offerings to help the land heal and see that in is continuously looked after by both of us. The ones who walk the land and those who are of the land can work together as joint caregivers and custodians of the land. We will also call a pawn the oceans mist, so that it may blanket the ground in dew, halting any more fires and help encourage new life to grow. Finally, a healing of all life affected and traumatized by the event.
Come join Wisdom Council of the Starlit Well on the beach this weekend as we offer to heal and form a reconnection with the spirit of the land.

Price: $5-$15 donation much-welcomed! (Not required in order to participate)
Bring: Blankets or folding chairs Empty bottle Drums, rattles and similar instruments Potluck item - we will eat together after ritual Chairs or blankets
Wear: Warm layers, scarves hats
Bathrooms: Public restrooms are closed at the beach around this hour we start the work, so be sure to take care of business before you we start!
Parking: There is ample parking along the highway, in front of the parking lot adjacent to the beach, until 10:00 pm. DO NOT park in the parking lot as it closes at sunset, and Parking Enforcement is strict with ticketing!
How to find us: From the roadside, cross the parking lot and go down of the staircase on the far left. You will find us on the beach to the left as you come off the stairs, just on the other side of the line of trees & bushes.
